AhlulBayt News Agency: Members of the Iranian Quranic community will gather at Abuzar Mosque in Tehran this Friday to condemn the recent terrorist crimes that led to the desecration of the Quran and religious sites in the country.
The Quranic community is organizing this gathering in response to the recent riots and terrorist acts perpetrated by American-Zionist-backed Daesh-like elements, which resulted in the martyrdom of innocent civilians and security forces as well as the inhumane actions of rioters who disrespected the Quran, mosques, and religious sites.
This gathering will be attended by scholars, qaris, memorizers, Quran activists, and the general public.
The event is scheduled to state at 10:00 AM on Friday.
Violent rioters vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran on Thursday and Friday, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.
They vandalized public properties, blocked streets, attacked the administrative buildings and police stations, and killed and injured a number of security and law enforcement forces.
They also set fire on several mosques and desecrated copies of the Holy Quran.
The Abuzar Mosque in Tehran was among the places of worship desecrated in the riots.
On Tuesday, rallies were held across Iran to condemn the rioters and their backers, the US and the Israeli regime.
